TANK INSPECTIONS
At B&B Tank and Trailer Repair, we’re experts in routine tank inspections and state fillings. Our certified inspectors are qualified to conduct all tests and inspections required by the DOT. We’re committed to keeping your tanks in compliance with all State and Federal Regulations.

All annual inspections required under State and Federal Regulations must be filled with the state. We are experts at completing all necessary paperwork and filling to ensure your tanks are compliant.

All cargo tanks designed to be loaded by vacuum with full opening rear heads must be tested every 6 months.
All other cargo tanks must be testest every 12 months.

All insulated cargo tanks, except MC 330, MC 331, MC 338 must be tested every 12 months
All cargo tanks transporting lading corrosive to the tank must be tested every 12 months.
MC 331 cargo tanks less than 3,500 gallons water capacity in dedicated propane service constructed of non-quenched and tempered NQT SA-612 steel must be tested every 10 years.
All other cargo tanks, except MC 338 must be tested every 5 years.

All lined cargo tanks transporting lading corrosive to the tank but be tested every 12 months.

MC 330 and MC 331 cargo tanks in chlorine service must be tested every 24 months.
All other cargo tanks except MC 338 must be tested every 12 months.

All cargo tanks which are insulated with no manhole or insulated and lined, except MC 338 must be tested every 12 months.
All cargo tanks designed to be loaded by vacuum with full opening rear heads must be tested every 24 months.
MC 330 and MC 331 cargo tanks in chlorine service must be tested every 24 months.
MC 331 cargo tanks less than 3,500 gallons water capacity in dedicated propane service constructed of nonquenched and tempered NQT steel must be tested every 10 years.
All other cargo tanks must be tested every 5 years.

All unlined cargo tanks transporting material corrosive to the tank, except MC 338 must be tested every 24 months.

All inspections and tests must be preformed in ordinance of 49 CRF 180.407 by an experienced and knowledgeable inspector that meets all the requirements of §180.407.
All of our inspectors are certified and qualified to conduct all tests and inspections required by the U.S. Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.
